Love

Love is in the air

February's the month to celebrate love, love, love! Knowing that the best way to someone's heart is through the stomach. Restaurants offer delicious ideas that will ignite sparks of romance in our lives, melt our beloved's heart and lift us up to cloud nine. If all these fail, well at least we'll have a full tummy.

Tadaa~ Here we are Souled Out Ampang. This was the restaurant where my bee brought me to on our V-day. The restaurant has this super cozy, friendly ambience and with their ultimate goals of bringing peace and freedom to have fun and celebrate good times has come to a pass.

The signboard at night.

Our table was bedded with a red red rose and loads of rose petals.

Haaa~ the silly me with the reservation slip.

The table was reserved under my bee's name and he himself is reserved personally for me. ><

A glass of sparkling wine fits all.

The appetizer - Pan Seared Aussie shore Scallop
served on a bed of rich pumpkin puree, topped with aged balsamic reduction, tomato & avocado salsa,
garnished by alfalfa shoots & drizzled with truffle oil. Classy combination that will leave you wanting more!

Main course number 1 - Rack of Lamb Tandoor
grilled and served with parmesan mash, sautéed spinach, green lentils, diced carrot & yoghurt mint sauce. Lamb is perfectly pink and the tangy sauce adds that nice little kick.

Main course number 2 - Andaman Sea Bream
served with sautéed organic spinach, artichoke bottom, golden roast pumpkin, shimeji mushroom topped with crispy capers & lemon beurre blanc. Seafood lovers will be most happy!

Desert for the night - Miniature Lava cake
served on a poached granny smith apple with chocolate shavings, strawberry coulis & anglaise sauce. A truly luscious way to end a beautiful Valentine's dinner!

Taste: 3/5
Environment: 4/5
Services: Not within the expectation
Overall: a good place good environment for organizing a special occasion but their service and food still need a lot more of improvement. hope to see a better you!
